Comprehensive Child Development, Inc. (CCD) provides Early Childhood Education and care for families with young children ages 4 months to Kindergarten in the Southern California areas of greater Long Beach, San Pedro and Wilmington. CCD's focus is low-income households, including many single-parent families. If not for affordable (free or low cost) child care provided by our agency and funded through public and private sector grants, many of the parents in our programs would be forced to remain on or return to welfare.
CCD has over twenty-four continuous years of experience in the Long Beach, San Pedro and Wilmington areas. We have worked closely with the community, local officials, the cities in which our programs are located and the State of California Department of Education to provide quality early childhood education opportunities for these deserving families.
